With a 1200 litre capacity this machine can easily dissolve 1⁄2 tonne of urea in cold water, or hold 1.5 tonne of dry fine particle product in suspension. The Multi 1200 Dual Boom features booms with a spray width of up to 22 metres. Using the optional on-board crane and being able to dump product directly out of a bulk bags, makes it very fast to load and operate. The agitation system features a patented housed impellor which ensures product can never settle out of suspension. The Multi 1200 can self-fill the machine by sucking the liquid from the effluent pond instead of using fresh water. Using just 1 pair of auxiliary tractor hydraulics, the Multi 1200 is simple and hassle-free. The agitation and pump for spraying is driven off the same drive mechanism, so they always run concurrently. Fitted with a 100% Stainless Steel trash pump and a silicon carbide mechanical seal – specifically designed for this application, the Tow and Fert is built to last. All fittings are removable without tools and can be done in the field. Depending on application rate, the Multi 1200 has the capacity to cover approx. 12 hectares in one load.
Numerous research papers show the significant benefits of applying soluble fertilisers as a foliar spray, and also of applying non-soluble fertilisers as a fine particle blend rather than in its usual coarse ‘ag’ grade. However the practicality of mixing and applying these fertilisers with traditional boom sprayers and solid fert spreaders has put the job in the ‘too hard’ category. The Tow and Fert range solves these issues and offers farmers an easy, economical and convenient way to apply these ‘hard to deal with’ fertilisers. This means that the financial and animal health benefits of fine particle and foliar fertilisers can be gained without complicating your farming practices. Too easy!
The Tow and Fert range has many features which set it apart from a traditional boom sprayer. The mixing tank features patented powerful agitation, with mix ratios of up to 1 part water, 2 parts fine particle fert possible. The booms also feature our patented recirculation system, this means the booms continuously recirculate regardless of it the nozzles are spraying or not. These and many other features have been incorporated into the design of the Tow and Fert range to make mixing and applying fertiliser fast and convenient.
The Tow and Fert Multi 1200 can have optional wheels for smaller tractors and optional 1-tonne crane for self loading
All fittings used on the Tow and Fert are cam-locks for ease of use in the field and for cleaning. Nozzles are easily interchanged for varying spray rates
Construction of build is a galvanised chassis, UV resistant plastic tank and a combination of stainless steel and plastic in all areas that come in contact with fertiliser.
With each Tow and Fert, comes calculator software to determine your mix ratios before you even start filling the machine. You can enter in rates per hectare of each desired product, and let the calculator do the math.
